The tuner doesn't detect my instrument
Make sure microphone access is enabled: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Guitar Tuner.
Also try playing closer to the microphone and reducing background noise.
Can I use it for instruments other than guitar or bass?
Yes. Turn on Chromatic Mode on the main screen — the tuner will detect any pitch in any octave.
Does it work offline?
Yes — no internet connection is required. The app works fully offline.
How do I change the reference pitch (A4)?
Open Settings (gear icon, top-right) and adjust the A4 Reference slider. Standard concert pitch is 440 Hz.
Does the success sound annoy others?
You can disable it in Settings → Success Sound.
What languages are supported?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Russian. Change in Settings → Language.
Which tunings are included?
40+ tunings for 6- and 7-string guitar (Standard, Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, Half Step Down, etc.) and for 4- and 5-string bass.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any user data. All audio is processed on-device.
